As grocery prices rise, D.C. Republicans are cutting food benefits to give tax breaks to billionaires - making it harder for 450,000 New Mexicans to put food on their tables & eliminating benefits for 55,000.

In the upcoming special session, New Mexico lawmakers will help stabilize our rural healthcare providers, so Trump’s reckless budget cuts don’t force them to close their doors.
First, they slashed food assistance programs to Americans in need to cut taxes for the ultra wealthy.
Then, they cancelled an annual federal report on hunger in the United States, so it wouldn’t show hunger increasing under their watch. 🤨
