Sunday 10/26/25 - Kent pumpkin Run. Town 141/169 in my quest to run a race in all of CT. Great course, very pretty. Lots of running friends makes it even better.

Steve Hogarth has been one of my favorite singers for years. First solo show in the states. Doing some cool songs from his career. Some are playing tracks, wish he’d just simplify even more and just play them on the keyboard. First Marillion track is House, nice surprise.

Progstock. Came to see Hogarth, but enjoying the bands so far. Serengazer had soundcheck problems and are 75 minutes late. Ugh.

My kiddos friend works here and it’s like Yelp without the shady corporate behavior.

Made it to Killingworth today for town 132/169 in the quest to run every town in CT. Pretty course except for the one MAGA moron with his fascism flags all over the place. Nice turn out, lots of fun on the run. Took it easy on my knee, felt good being out there with all the fun 169ers.

I loved those books. Good reads. In the basement somewhere now.

Warren CT - town 124/169 in my quest to run a race in every town in CT. Bit brutal today as my arthritis has been kicking in. Learning how to live with it, but not happy about it. Still, got to be with great people and shared some beers at Kent Falls later. #run169towns

So, spent some time at the Knee Dr this morning. Knee was swollen and bad on Sat. Sunday was ibuprofen and cold therapy (not outside). Was hoping he would drain the knee again. But swelling was gone, Pain wasn’t. Got a cortisone shot and hoping that resets it before my long run on Sunday. Ugh.

The drive still sucked. But fun memories!

In my quest to run in all 169 CT towns, today was East Granby. 6.7 miles . Hills at mile 4.5 and 5 did me in. But I finished! Town 122/169. Frozen Feet and mustache. Rocked my new Hoka Mach 6’s though, very nice!

In my quest to run a race in all 169 towns in CT, today was town 121, North Branford. Drove an hour, one way, to run one mile on the high school track. It was an official race, so it counts! Little worried about tomorrow’s weather in East Granby for a 10k+, but gonna try it! Lets go #Run169towns

Survived the 55th Annual Bernie Jurale Tradition Rin up to Castle Craig in Meriden. They advertised 700 feet of elevation in just 3 miles. Seemed more than that!!
