Undyne the Undying from Undertale
First part of tutorial. Rough shapes resembling fire are drawn in box. Text underneath the box reads: 'Rough shapes. Depends on what you're going for but it needs to feel flud.' Example squiggly shapes are sketched out underneath.
Second part of tutorial. Top image shows shapes from part one with circled areas. Text underneath reads: 'With lasso tool, I cut out oval shapes. The closer these cutouts are together, the skinnier the flame. Cut more for more sparce flames or less for bigger ones.'
Third part. This image shows edited flame shapes with the circled areas cut out. Text reads: 'Here are the rough shapes after cutting.'
Fourth part. Top image shows same shapes with slight differences. Some flames had more circular parts cut out and have been edited slightly. There were also scattered shapes added to mimic small flame details. Text underneath reads: 'Continue cutting away if you want to adjust something. I also add some back in the shapes to give it more interest.' Sketches underneath the text show various shapes that can be added to the larger flame shapes.

A headless, furless hound creature with subtly segmented body akin to a termite, large veins, a gaping hole with a long tongue dripping blue liquid on its front, three pairs of similar tongue-less holes on its sides, and an upright tail with longs hairs sticking out in all directions. On top of it is a protruding stalk with vertical eyes. Large droplets-blobs of blue liquid emerge out of its side holes and curve through the air, as if tracking the creature's prey
