If the plan was to block passing lanes, which looking back at part of the game now on TNT I think it might have been, crickey did that fail with the movement of the PSG players and the lack of concentration from the #LFC players.

Slot is taking this team backwards. Boy, is it so evident. A set-up that was not built to suit anyone, and they had no idea how to build up if they were gifted possession. I say gifted, because there was no press to win the ball back. Not a single shot on target, PSG had 683 passes to our 189.

It's awful. It's anti-Liverpool because it's so passive. Having said that, I would hate to think what it might have been like had we played our typical formation. I'd agree with your summary re player performance.

Wait until you look at the passing stats

Ekitike is looking, and playing, like a spoilt teenager. I should know; I teach a few of them. Literally doesn't look arsed and has been horrendous at keeping hold of the ball to let play build around him. It doesn't help he's being played off the left rather than through the middle.

Liverpool are getting played through with ease because no one is willing to press and no one is willing to support anyone that does look to press. This set-up hasn't been drilled well enough for the players to know what to do. They're also horrific at keeping the ball, which really doesn't help #LFC
