The output of "system_profiler -json SPUSBDataType" on pre-Tahoe systems. Very useful!

The equivalent output from "system_profiler -json SPUSBHostDataType" on MacOS Tahoe. Not Useful!

Another stupid MacOS 26 Tahoe change making my life harder. In Tahoe, several USB tools I use are broken. They call `system_profiler SPUSBDataType` internally to get USB info. In Tahoe that's gone, replaced by "SPUSBHostDataType", which returns not enough info #macos #tahoe #USB #macos26

Inspired by “Firr’s Junk®” & downsizing & narrowing the focus of my projects, time to dispense w/some less-used electronic parts. $10, $20 or $30 gets you a box of junk. DM to request, provide PayPal address & size you want & I’ll send an invoice. US addresses only. Please read full thread…

Arcade Fightstick Use a Pico RP2040 or KB2040 Keeboar to build your own low latency arcade joystick controller. GP2040-CE firmware plus an OLED and NeoPixels take it to the next level.

I built a fightstick. Maybe I'll finally get good at Street Fighter! learn.adafruit.com/arcade-fight...

Enjoyed talking with @paulcutler.org on this ep! Learn how I planned to get the drop on Happy Meal toys, the Isle of Misfit Boards, rising to the top of the charts with a four chord song, what would happen if Freud played Shadowrun, and the Macropad Hotkeys II.

my first time using 1010_music Bento to sequence the modular (two channels of MIDI out to Yarns for two sets CV/gate), then mix that back in plus reverb, and a couple of tracks of sampled drums and granular pads. Bento is a beast!

I just pulled apart the dashboard of my Jeep, yanked the broken radio out of it, reflowed a chip that had overheated at some point and popped a solder joint, and now the thing works again, yay!

I just want to put this out into the universe.

If you are a homebrew developer of a GB, GBC, GBA, NES, SMS, MD/Genesis, N64, or PS1 game with a free version or a free demo of you game, I’d love to ship it with SuperStation as a physical or digital demo disk.

I did it! I made a video game. Introducing Star Captain 32767, a retro-arcade shooter with rogue-lite elements, inspired by games like Galaga and 10000000. The game is free, but if you enjoy it I would really appreciate a small donation!
