Another NIH study from 2022 reviewed "dozens of studies over multiple decades" on the link between porn and sexual aggression. It found that "evidence did not suggest that nonviolent pornography was associated with sexual aggression."

This is an old playbook: laundering bad science.

Legislators refer to definitive blog posts or statements from antiporn groups, who in turn use vague numbers, cherry pick facts or outright mischaracterize actual studies.

Then they flood the zone until it becomes conventional wisdom.
