And yet, April was so green, because it warmed and rained and the grass turned brilliant green. We actually had a true Grass Moon, this year!

The shuffling of bed covers has been epic and rather annoying.

I anticipate allergy season being likewise epic. But at any rate, happy Spring!

This year, with our wild up and downs, everything held back and held back and held back until this week, when _everything_ burst open at once. The cherries barely beat the apples by two days. The trees are exploding. There was no green mist, there was LEAVES, LEAVES RIGHT FUCKING NOW.

Normally, you know, Michigan spring involves a bare, mud-colored April and then a May of trees and flowers slowly daring the outdoors, a week of green mist as the trees bud, a week of the cherries flowering and then another of the apples.

On the bright side, the cherries and apples are blooming like they're a balloon someone suddenly blew into, and my hostas have popped out of the ground like someone banged a fork on a can and yelled "num-nums!"

Well, I made it through the night with no visits from tornadoes and only a brief power outage. this is good, because other parts of town were /really/ not so lucky.

Right? These things are just absolute crap if you have a functioning brain.

...that is, of course, the major lever, from what I can see.
