Gently, now. Don’t wake him. Hassel is a man of his word, he will leave this spot for nothing. Imagine wanting to be anywhere else but right here anyway, with such a wonderful gift as… helping your good friend stay nice and warm. Yes. But there’s no harm in adjusting their tangle of limbs to be a little less awkward, more cozy. Though as it turns out, the way he does this just ends up bringing their chests cuddled all the closer together— Then Brassius, the second he feels that extra warmth on him, he lets slip the dearest little noise between a purr and a sigh on this planet. Too steeped in half-dreams to realize on his own, but thank Arceus above his poor shivers are slowing… that those dreams must finally be such comforting ones. Even those very-near tender breaths have grown more steady against the crook of Hassel’s neck. As for himself, surely this is the open fireplace heating up his face and being quite so persistent about it!

Happiest holidays and happy Hassius Exchange Day, sadly chronic illness has raised its ugly head this week and I was unable to finish a gift by the deadline. BUT I’ve been told that sharing a little snippet is fine for now, so this is for you @drawnbinary.bsky.social ✨

Who’s most likely to disagree just to fluster the other? To tease and tease just to make them blush? Who’s most likely to go along with anything to see them smile? To go to bed angry but refuse to close their eyes without a kiss?
