When I’m mentally checked out, I’m prolly checked into someplace that looks and sounds like this
Always nice getting out of #NYC and touching grass

Regained like 30 mental HP in a short time
Once you learn how much control you have over your own peace, random people on the internet won’t steal ya joy as easily.
Choose peace
What's crazy is that there are so many slurs for so many races and groups, but dementia, tourettes, autism or any of myriad of illnesses always leads people back to saying the N-Word.
There are people who have never met a black person in their life, but they know how to use that word.
Andrew's connection to Jeffrey Epstein and the crimes he (allegedly) committed with him are only possible because of the royal blood that runs through his veins. I know the royal family have been "distancing" themselves from him, but they have to know they are complicit?
Always a good time to say that there are men in prison for an eight of weed, while the federal govt shields #Epstein men.
It’s also not lost on me that the govt abolished slavery for everyone but them.
“Except as punishment when convicted for a crime”

You see the vision!!!!
Crockett: "The US is falling apart, partially bc he's allowing for killings in the street, but also bc we have a 34 count convicted felon being shielded from any type of accountability as it relates to a child sex trafficking ring. I don't understand why we're pretending any of this is normal."
I asked my brain to make a caricature of where it thinks my happy place would be, and it collaborated with my hands and eyes to draw this picture.
Drank only about half a bottle of water while making it.
Featuring my wife, my stepdog, and me
The audacity to even mention “young children” is a slap in the face of every literate adult
MINNEAPOLIS (AP) — Alberto Castañeda Mondragón says his memory was so jumbled after a beating by immigration officers that he initially could not remember he had a daughter and still struggles to recall treasured moments like the night he taught her to dance. But the violence he endured last month in Minnesota while being detained is seared into his battered brain. He remembers Immigration and Customs Enforcement agents pulling him from a friend’s car on Jan. 8 outside a St. Paul shopping center and throwing him to the ground, handcuffing him, then punching him and striking his head with a steel baton. He remembers being dragged into an SUV and taken to a detention facility, where he said he was beaten again. He also remembers the emergency room and the intense pain from eight skull fractures and five life-threatening brain hemorrhages.
ICE told nurses this Minneapolis man “purposefully ran headfirst into a brick wall.”
What actually happened is that they pulled him from a car, beat him so viciously with a steel baton that he had 8 skull fractures, 5 life-threatening brain hemorrhages, and couldn’t remember he had a daughter.
@schumer.senate.gov this is how you represent your constituents. Take notes or shove off back to the Baileys
@schumer.senate.gov is compromised. His political life is guided by imaginary voters who aren’t even democrats. We need people who are concerned with the real human constituents that they are governing.
happening this morning in Minneapolis -- ICE agents drawing guns on observers. I reiterate again that it is only a matter of time before DHS kills more innocent people in Minnesota. Congress needs to shut this shit down right now.
Remember back in 2016 when a left leaning presidential candidate was worried about our democracy shifting into an corporate oligarchy run by billionaires and for billionaires and the DNC laughed and said “but we love money too”
This Epstein drop is HUGE and utterly disgusting. I don’t see how this man is allowed to remain in office. Where are the evangelical leaders, the soccer moms, the folks stocking up on eggs, the farmers, the small business owners.
Decide. Who are you?
Anyways, unmask these ICE agents
Will you do nothing today, but still benefit and take pride in the efforts of those organizing, protesting, those who, in spite of the overwhelming power of the state, are putting their bodies on the line for people they may never meet.
Or
Will you do something…anything
What are you gonna tell your descendants in 5-30 years (if you hopefully survive that long)when they ask “so, what did you do?”
Ordinary people who were cashiers, teachers, cooks, church goers, nurses, journalists, Christians, atheists, Muslims, people who had the courage to believe in something outside of themselves.
But in reality, the freedoms that we enjoy today: The right to vote (for everyone except landowning white men), to have weekends off, paid maternity leave, child labor laws, to love regardless of gender, the very barest of minimum wage, were all paid for by the organizers, protestors, the strikers
I feel (probably in large part of the public education system) that there’s this romanticism about the freedoms that so many of us take for granted today. The idea that it was secured by American soldiers fighting on foreign soil to ensure our “freedom”
Imma say it again over a year later, don’t let nihilism or apocalyptic thinking deter you from engaging with this current moment.
BREAKING: Judge dismisses murder, weapons charges against alleged UnitedHealth CEO killer Mangione reut.rs/45Fin56
Black graphic with a quote: "“I kept yelling that I was legal. An officer said ‘You're not from here. Where are you from?’ I asked them not to yell at me. I again told them I was legal. They grabbed my wallet and phone and turned off my phone so the recording stopped... They were pointing weapons and yelling at me to shut up.” Quote is attributed to R.C., Minneapolis resident, in a sworn declaration in our lawsuit challenging ICE's unlawful actions.
We're taking ICE and CBP to court on behalf of people like R.C., who was carrying proof of his lawful permanent residence status when immigration agents used unnecessary force and arrested him anyway.
Don Lemon is not the only reporter who was arrested by federal agents overnight — local independent journalist Georgia Fort just went live on FB to say federal agents were also at her door to take her into custody over her protest coverage in Minneapolis.
Don was taken into custody by federal agents last night in Los Angeles.
Omar: I instinctively tried to, like, punch him…, I was raised with three brothers who were older than me. You learn that maybe taking the first punch when somebody is bigger than you yields you better results.
You have to read this. Firsthand affidavit from one of the women who was there and recording the video. She talks about how Alex Pretti was directing traffic when she arrived. She watched him be killed in front of her. She's afraid to go home, worried she'll be arrested.
@tomsuozzi.bsky.social @replauragillen.bsky.social in light of what has transpired this morning in Minneapolis As NY “representatives” do you both still believe that ICE is just a matter of training and body cams? Have another statement brewing?
