Pen sketch of a mushroom samurai. The mushroom man has a lattice mycelium cloak covering most of its body, only showing an arm resting over a daisho. The writing says "bushiitake" as a pun of the japanese word for warrior and the name of a mushroom variety.
Pen sketch while I was in a meeting.
I had this pun in mind and the idea of the classic samurai hat as a mushroom cap.
On one hand, I totally get keeping self promotion to a minimum, since that can easily become spam and drown out discussion. On the other hand, how is anyone supposed to learn about something new, or support something that looks unique?
ok buckaroos i am going to talk a bit on artists and writers and publishers and AI, specifically HOW to create in this environment of endless ai slop and WHY i think you will probably be fine if you heed these very important words: YOUR ART IS MORE THAN WHAT IS IN THE PAGE OR PAINTING OR FILM
I worked as a designer and as sensitivity lead on this, and if you are a fan of fantasy TTRPGs at all, you should really check it out 👀
I do this every time. Doubles for getting everyone to finish side conversations and back into the story!

Ah, the life of a TTRPG designer.
👀
TTRPG designers should be paid more!!
In accordance with this I upped all the prices of the Imagination Simulations catalogue! Help me afford groceries and estrogen!

We've been tossing around the idea of the occasional Twitch stream lately, and today is gonna be the day! Austin is a big fan of The Finals, and they just dropped a fantasy themed season.
He'll be live in 20 minutes if all goes according to plan!
Where is the weirdest place you've played a TTRPG? We've played in a barn loft, a church, and overnight at an office. Not sure which takes the cake there.
Black and white meme of a floorplan layout where all amenities have been pushed to the minimum amount of space to make room for the text "fungus-based body horror"
Black text spray painted next to a dumpster on the wall of a low yellow building reads: "are you going to cowboy up or just lay there and bleed?". The word 'bleed' is highlighted in red.
A screenshot of a reddit post by user u/all_is_not_goodman from the subreddit r/TwoSentenceHorror reads "I always felt safe around my horses. 'Not anymore' said knife horse."
A brown horse with white face markings stands in the sea. Above it, the text "I am always lurking, dear white boy" is displayed.

If you're revisiting Doskvol in anticipation of Blades in '68, check out our Lost Archives of ready-made inventions and rituals, to drop in as rewards, inspire scores, or even to base a whole season of play around! From Inception dream rituals to Jekyll and Hyde elixirs, we've got you covered!
If you haven't seen us at a con, don't worry! We're there—it's just that the spectral barrier keeps B. from fully crossing into the larger temporal space, rendering us mostly invisible.
That said, if you are at a con and CAN see us, please contact your closest Agent to prevent timeline collapse.
This is tangentially TTRPG related, but we've been playing Slay the Spire 2 over here at the Biscuit Wolf top secret HQ, and honestly love the MS Paint placeholder art.
Word Count: 100 pages, 43,509 words, 310,632 characters, 210,432 characters excluding spaces.
It's important to take a moment and enjoy when you reach certain benchmarks. Looking forward to getting this into the world Soon™
Free actual play idea: City of Mist, but the only mythos are advertising mascots. Chester Cheetah, Toucan Sam, the General, and so on.
3. As if Blades '68 doesn't have enough touchstones already, I wrote a design diary about four "meta touchstones".

These are less aesthetic touchstones and more creative guides for my own process. Two books, a TV show, and an ad campaign.
It's Game Master Appreciation Day! Make sure you leave out some Dr Pepper and a slice of pizza for the Spirit of the Dice tonight so you get good rolls for the next year!
Or, just let your GM know how much you appreciate them. It'll do wonders for your character's mortality.
There's a strategy to this. No Cheetos or other dusty food UNLESS you also use chopsticks. Charcuterie is good, as are pretzels and jerky. And no sauces, or those will end up on your character sheet!
We're very proud of our work, and very impressed by all the other entries in the Jams of the Timescape #2! Check out the whole list of winners here, but especially our entry, the Arrakszhai!

Hey tabletop gamers, if you bought or were considering buying this bundle but got overwhelmed by the number of games to sort through, have I got the spreadsheet for you!!
All 1,074 games tagged as "physical" sorted by play style, with language, engine, and genre notated to the best of my ability:
A pie chart labelled "Reasons B. Is Excited About Blades '68" displays the following percentages: - 4% Groovy 60's Vibes - 4% Interesting New Take On Blades - 92% Austin Has Already Started The "Countdown Until B. Makes A Nuke" Clock
B. has provided us with a helpful(?) infographic about their enthusiasm for Blades '68.
B. has also assured us that accidental nukes are definitely a problem that everyone has, not just them.
