Still in my 'learning about stuff' arc, was doing some character design studies w friends.

trying to fall in love with drawing characters again, tried to "push" a character design and it feels like fun again

also thats insane that you both remember my character and recognize the vibe in someone elses art

that's what it is! we were chatting about pushing character designs to make them more recognizable and he started doodling an idea for a new version of my character as a test!

Finally did something with the flexplate gearwheel i pulled out of my car! Turned it into a clock!

And thats the last of the cigarette 2DFX Sequence I did! Thank you all! This is also the last of the 2DFX Shots I have done for all of Helluva Boss (of what's released)

After the episode came out the storyboarder found me later and told me that this is exactly what they intended, regardless of what the director said, it made me so happy to hear the we had the same idea to make it heartbreaking

and now for my FAVORITE part of this 2DFX sequence. It's not often I get to be the "Main Character" of a scene, but I got to have some fun with this one. The director told me to just have smoke loop vertically, but I decided to see if they'd let me show the wind giving Blitz a bit of "coldness"
