Hell yeah. I revisited 3 somewhat recently and I think 3 is one of the best at striking a balance between guided setpiece and skill-based gameplay. Not afraid to let you fuck up the sequence if you fuck up the gameplay, but does a good job of pointing you where you need to go in high stakes moments

It is. They're very tricky games to recommend because I think a lot of people will simply never click with the way they gamify traversing the world. I bounced off the first game a few times. But I think they're phenomenal games and have really masterfully designed progression arcs to the gameplay.

I freaking love this game. A Dark Game about Heavy Dark Shit and The Apocalypse that manages to be incredibly uplifting and genuinely sweet instead of wallowing in a cynical, pessimistic view of humanity and community, and was made by a team that was very clearly having an absolute blast making it.
