I’m fairly certain this has actually happened.

Well stated. And to think how John Turner was mocked for advising caution.

Old? I remember when the Maple Leaf was raised for the 1st time!

I don't think hate is the right emotion. We are well aware that just less than the majority voted for sanity, and we sympathize. I think it was astonishment, followed by anger and now bemusement. I think a chilly friendliness will settle in eventually but the entanglement - that's over.

I agree. In many ways your President has done us a favour (note the Cdn/UK spelling) by making us forge new alliances and strengthen old ones. I would normally have spent the last 2 months in Joshua Tree but instead when to, and loved Cambodia. So hey, thanks.

She's not a victim, just like Melania Trump, she's a volunteer.

Especially with our Maple Leaf on his jersey. Sheer blasphemy.

Strike book #9 - no idea when it's being released but I'll be 1st in line to purchase. And I don't know who this Garfield character is either, wasn't he a past US president?

"Let’s be honest: it has never been particularly fashionable to defend women’s rights, or to be a feminist. Everyone is finding out exactly where they would have stood in comparable times when women’s rights were denied or under attack." - Jenny Lindsay

Give it up. He's a men's rights advocate - defending men's right to be called women.

Our family reunion, due this year to take place in North Carolina is now taking place in Southern Ontario. Our American relatives (Trump supporters) are coming north. Political discussions banned.

I'd have said "get in the bin" but "get in the sea" strikes me as being a bit more elegant. Cheers.

Missing JKR's commenting is the only thing I miss about X.

Im hoping Canada is considered for EU membership. Not completely far-fetched as we share a border with Denmark via Hans Island.

Virtue signaling. One of the banes of our existence.

Completely agree. The weird thing is, these blockers and list compilers think we're bothered. Just one more way they're deceived. It's a right laugh.

But own and frequently lend out HAGS with the stipulation I want it back.

I would never go back to the cesspit of X but I do miss hearing from people like JKR and Julie Bindel. Thank whatever gods exist for accounts like yours and Cathy Devine that keep me on this platform - pushing for women and girls rights.
