How does the party of ā€œkids need a dad, not two momsā€ people feel about Musk impregnating tens of women (probably way more than we know about) and having the kids grow up without their dad?

You set the house on fire, watched it burn, and then lost your nerve and put it out. You now have a partially burned house. Great job.

Crimes in broad daylight. Trump and his friends are getting rich off this chaos. Market manipulation doesn’t even begin to describe this.

The credibility of the US government is completely shot.

Gone.

Annihilated.

Nobody anywhere in the world can believe a single word that comes out of this Administration.

Ever.

China tariffs are now 104%. Forget inflation for a moment—American owned companies are going to go out of business.

This is bonkers!!!

Donald Trump is a failed businessman who is crashing the American economy.

None of these people are fit to govern.

Dozens of free measles vaccine clinics close in Texas as federal funding is cut Many clinics had been planned at schools in the Dallas area with low vaccination rates.

This is what Trump and Musk are doing during a measles outbreak.Ā

Today, 10,000 staffers were fired at CDC—including measles and bird flu experts—while dozens of free vaccination clinics were canceled in Texas.

These billionaires don’t seem to care that children will die from their cruel cuts.

Grok calculates that Elon's DOGE CUTS will
KILL 3.88 Million people worldwide and 520,000 Americans.
ーー
DOGE claims they have cut $130 billion, this is less than the $170 billion in unpaid taxes that millionaires/billionaires evade EACH YEAR. Biden reinstated the Non-Filer Program to collect these evaded taxes but Trump immediately shut it down. There have been 25K millionaire/billionaire non-filers since 2017. The rich could save 4M lives if they just paid their taxes.

If you don’t think this administration is so incompetent or callous as not to do this, you haven’t been paying attention.

If you think what happened to Rumeysa Ozturk can't happen to you because you're a citizen and she's not, you are sorely mistaken. Ozturk was snatched off the street not for being a national security threat but for having a wrong opinion. If we don't put a stop to this, it's coming for all of us.

Imagine this: On the evening of March 8, you and your spouse unlock the door to your apartment building. As you step inside, two men—not in uniform—push their way in behind you. They tell you your visa has been revoked and that they are there to deport you.

Protest at a Tesla dealership and you get arrested as a terrorist.

But attack the Capitol and you get a pardon.

If you're 60, 69.1% of all job growth since your birth occurred under Democratic administrations.

If you're 45, that number is 74.7%.

If you're under 30, the number is 100%.

We had Russia on the ropes.

They were crippled by sanctions.

They had made minimal headway into Ukraine.

Putin had to survive a military uprising within his own ranks.

He was down to pleading for conscripts from North Korea.

Then he played his ace in the hole.

Donald Motherfucking Trump.

Thank you. Yes, I’m terrified about not just the US but the world. Reading about the atrocities that occurred under authoritarian regimes and seeing the parallels now in such a powerful country—feeling helpless and sad. You take care too! I’ll check out some of the games you mentioned!!

Agree, it’s that and I tend to start checking news when I’m reading and it’s hard now to just get lost in a book, whereas games are very immersive and time flies. Even then I occasionally see news about something while gaming and it hurts and I yell STOP!! And get back to gaming. Need this break

Those all look great! I haven’t gamed in a long time in general except BG3 and a short foray through Diablo 4 when it released but these times are perfect for getting back into it. I need to turn off my brain and have fun. I love reading but it wasn’t working lately, this is much more effective

BG3 is so good, I bet you will love it once you get around to it! What games are you playing lately?

1 year ago 1 0 1 0

After a lot of painful doomscrolling, I was reminded how amazing games are at turning off my brain and picked up Baldur’s Gate 3 for the first time in nearly 1.5 years. Highly recommend. It’s not helping society, but it’s helping my sanity. And I was falling apart before this.

I do reckon there will be lots of Repubs that know this is doing irreparable damage to their party. But most will stay quiet until they 100% have to.

They are waiting for the chips to fall, they'll grab what they can, then throw Trump and his whole inner circle under the bus for clout.
