@webuyrecords.bsky.social Naughty step contender? Standard 2LP is around £35. The £109 price here justified by a disc of remixes and a 'lithograph' shopuk.beastieboys.com/products/to-...

I'm finding it quite poor at seeming natural, too. I was having a simple conversation with it and it started every response (four times) with "Good question —"
I've seen similar disputes in my own niche, and felt the pull myself. Some who get that invested in a subject begin to feel they 'own' it, and it becomes part of their identity. Seeing others publish feels like that identity being co-opted or stolen. Meanwhile, the world at large cares not!
That's the The Clock guy! These are brilliant, as was that.
I've found you can avoid this by habitually going to bed far too late - can't dream if you never enter REM sleep.

That said, that time I believe there was actually a BoC party but the sleuths hadn't got the date / coords right - a BoC-adjacent musician friend of mine was at the real one.
Similar thing happened many years ago with the BoC 'Red Moon Party' - a bunch of people reckoned they'd figured out BoC were having a party in East Lothian, and turned up to find... nothing. I believe they ended up having their own party instead!

I once had a presentation from a web agency who said "We've got a lot on, and June will be a nightmare. But you'll be part of that nightmare!". They were not selected
As a marketer, this can be generalised to all marketing teams
I have a big problem with people who reckon they can "tell AI" (seemingly half of Bluesky) and will bang on about it forever
I did it intentionally and it said to stop taking Ubers home from the pub when the bus stop was only 1 block away
The author almost touches on this, but I wonder if there are positive uses, in the right hands - e.g. preparing someone mentally for a surgery they're worried about - video of them relaxing as they're being prepped (or something).
This one got me until I noticed the dog at the back apparating and running through a wall at the end... reducing the quality of the clip is a good way to hide it

Yes, we're in unwieldy customised / pluginned mess mode at work. I have it on my coldwar.org.uk site though, with a heavily customised child theme, and it runs beautifully
I hope so, I use WP everywhere but am stumped by questions at work like "will we be able to integrate our website with AI-driven workflows in the near future" - like, we only got almost-WYSIWYG recently, WP works on its own timescale
'Away From It All' - fake 1970s travel documentary which was shown in cinemas ahead of 'Life of Brian' - never seen this before but it's brilliant www.youtube.com/watch?v=CgOA...
Why would they put it out on April 1st

The bit 'they' miss is that the process of writing isn't straight up transferring words out of your head onto a page. It's trying eight ways of thinking about something before stumbling on the right one, making unexpected connections as part of the process, finding fun ways to phrase things etc
