Its just an argument that only serves to drain both parties sanity I guess. I don't like the idea of a peaceful Eredar bloke selling cabbages in Stormwind, but someone clearly does and as much as I may not like it they're entitled to their RP as much as I'm entitled to mine, it is what it is.

There's just no point arguing and being overly 'realistic' about others creative choices tbh, you're just a guy with no power to change the RP scene to your will, the best thing we can do is curate our own spaces with likeminded people right.

This really grates me in MMO RP too honestly, the kind of player who has to OOC comment on everything. It was SO BAD with Star Wars settings with the whole "Well it wouldn't make sense for a Darth to do THAT 🤓" stuff, just the worst most annoying players.

Breaching my no WoW talk rule to ramble about Turtle WoW. I find the corporate bootlicking around the recent verdict kinda gross/weird? What they were doing was certainly infringement, but the amount of gloating I’ve seen around it has just been weird

I hope they find a way to keep turtle around, for all the performative social contract stuff blizzard implemented they basically just refuse to enforce any kind of standard atp. Even on retail alliance trade chat is often just full of anti trans talking points by the same people every day

That could be a scaling/gear thing honestly, with a new expansion as you level your stats kinda 'decrease' until you hit max where you're essentially set back to fresh max level status compared to being fully geared in the last one, so it feels clunky until you gear up again

I got my warlock to 90 the other day and im destro but it still kinda feels like god mode im ngl... im mostly in the arms warrior trenches atm but trying to find a fun alt to play is tough

RP is just creative writing in real time and guess what? Blizzard just threw you a shitty prompt, so go run with it and stop crashing out on the timeline because as much as the story may be bad, some of you need to touch grass way more than you need a good story.

You're the master of your characters story, your guilds direction etc. Spin it into a positive, if you're some super dedicated Sunwell bloke then twist your RP into managing the sheer anger you feel at having its powers be quelled, there's always stuff to pivot to and riff off in RP.
