Felt like drawing Fox McCloud cosplaying as Cooper and Krystal as Amber from the video game, Grabbed by the Ghoulies.
Fun fact: They're both voiced by @stevemalpass.bsky.social and @therealkrystlfox.bsky.social respectively.

I don’t know what your setup is but there is no way an HD stream on Netflix is worse than DVD for me. No way.
That shouldn’t be the case. HD should always look crisper than SD regardless of the medium. It’s probably throttling down to lower quality if your connection isn’t up to it or too many devices are using it.
I think you mean Blu-Ray. DVD was developed for CRTs and only SD. They look trash on a modern TV compared to HD.
I saw it there too. Bizarrely, I also saw it a year later when they showed it at St David’s Hall. My mum was not happy I was paying to go see a film a second time.
No, never did. I actually grew up in Porthcawl & Swansea until 12 but my nan in Cardiff took me to see a lot of films. So have memories of the Odeon in Swansea (Empire Strikes Back) and the Embassy/Ritz (Grease, Jaws 2) in Bridgend too. Sigh…
Odeon, Queen St. - Star Wars, Close Encounters, Ghostbusters, etc.
Monico - Superman, Last Crusade (small screen), Unforgiven. My mate lived in the flat next door, above the garage.
Plaza - The Rescuers and some other toons.
Great memories, all long gone.
That Cloud Cuckooland sketch is an actual level map. I made it. Gregg made it better.
The door locations in the seaside part stayed there. We just boarded them up, which we thought was nicer (and more authentic) than just removing them altogether. But the structure of the town had to change according to what abilities Banjo had at each stage. I forget the details now!
Nice job! That’s how I remember it looking in my head.
Wow, @oliegamertv.bsky.social!
It was a new thing for the new game. The remake was just just going to have the old lair. Maybe some tweaks here and there as necessary but essentially recognisable as the original.
Ah, I remember that article. Thanks for digging it up. There was always talk of a town. It wasn’t defined and there wasn’t a name. We knew we needed a hub to link levels together and wouldn’t it be fun to have a single place and not a bunch of areas and tunnels again? So no Grunty’s Lair this time.
I can’t think what it is. Is it the Rare Revealed video? What’s the time stamp? I’ll have a look and try and expand.
Beat me to it.
Yeah, Brightlodge was my bit. Very pleased with it. Shame it never saw the light of day.
Severance S2 opens with Adam Scott asking “Who are you people?” to Bob Balaban. The same question Richard Dreyfuss asks to Balaban (and Francois Truffaut) in this famous scene from Close Encounters of the Third Kind. Just sayin’.
Twilight Princess!
