If the UK government wants to defend Israel militarily, put it to a vote in Parliament.
Let the country see which MPs support a genocidal state.
Why on earth would Keir Starmer invite Trump to the UK?
How does he think that is okay?
Get involved in the big london school strike wave!
Support the picket lines. Come to the protests and show your #solidarity
Anyone who says this isn't a Nazi Salute is either seriously deluded, a liar, or a fascist.
If it looks like a nazi, talks like a nazi, salutes like a nazi, attacks minorities like a nazi, scorns democracy like a nazi, then it's probably a nazi...
We must never compromise with fascism.
A man wearing a hoodie with the words “camp Auschwitz, work brings is freedom” written on it.
This is one those released by Trump today.
This nazi.
Nobody could say they didn’t tell us who they were.

This is an a powerful and emotional true-story about an escape from a convoy to Auschwitz. It’s masterfully told and by equal measure shows the fear but also the hope in the darkest of times. Perfect for UKS2 #PicturebookPage
Zarah speaking at Methodist Central Hall
Zarah with members of Coventry’s NEU branch
Gaza’s death toll exceeds 186,000 (The Lancet), Israel’s PM faces an ICC arrest warrant & Israel is on trial for genocide at the ICJ.
Yet the UK government continues selling arms.
Proud to join Palestine Solidarity Campaign & StW in Coventry & demand a full arms embargo & sanctions on Israel.
Many have suspected the 'no excuses' strategies promoted and used in some secondaries were in danger of stepping over the mark. If after a proper investigation the allegations in this article prove to be true, let's hope it is the beginning of the end for them. www.theguardian.com/education/20...
I have yo say- i can not abide the language of “school readiness”.
How about child ready schools?
And as for this target? Are you going to pump money in to support for families? It seems not!

The child who is not embraced by their village will burn it down to find some warmth. (African proverb). Low/zero tolerance punitive and toxic power cultures create disenfranchised adults. Some will struggle quietly, others will struggle anti-socially. So the ‘keeping everyone safe’ is superficial.
This culture was lorded and encouraged by government. A whole load of the preferred academies and chains have embedded these practices.
The damage to children will be untold.
People like us? The woke blob. The enemies of promise.
To be clear - the Mossbourne culture is not confined to just this school. The last goverbment encouraged and supported this kind of institutionalised bullying of children. The rest of us were called “the blob”

It is the centrists in France that are helping the far right. Not the left!
Just as it is true here.
Used a new verb - ‘whiterosing’ it by which they meant teaching a lesson with prepared slides without knowing what the next slide was going to say and blagging it in the moment!!!!
This is what teaching is becoming - it’s so wrong!
I loved facilitating our EYFS forum today. I feel very privileged to learn from and work with such a brilliant bunch of EY Leaders. To help us also channel our inner @ruthswailes.bsky.social & @aaronearlyyears.bsky.social
we now all have a copy of A Child Centred EYFS ✨
Thinking about the early years environment, promoting children’s interests through carefully planned continuous provision extends children’s learning and provides opportunities for children’s hands, bodies and brains to be continually active (Zosh et al., 2017, Bradbury & Swailes, 2024).#PlayMatters
We just have to try and be good enough for most of the time.
That’s ok.
I’d never thought about this! Such a good point!!!!
Reading is about so much more than the sounds the letters make. I can’t understand why it’s so hard for some to understand that!
The image shows Ben Jamal speaking at a podium.
During a week of action in solidarity with Palestine, including today's workplace day of action and Friday's international day of solidarity, BEN JAMAL, director of @pscupdates.bsky.social blogs about why Palestinians need union members' support more than ever.

In light of Ofsted's latest proposals for their 'report card' I've created this handy poster that should be displayed in every classroom...
In case you missed our @sdupp.bsky.social cartoon on Ofsted's leaked report card proposals last week ...
And remember letters and sounds? It was free!
Now schools forced to by expensive phonics schemes run by academy chains that profit from this system.
And it would cost schools less is the LAs were restored with the funding to have proper, centrally employed advisors.
The corporate greed in education has to be ended. From curriculum and assessment to private consultants - end it all!
