Keir Starmer is a backstabbing liar, plenty of expelled Labour Party members will agree with me.

Just a thought: How about we stop shaming the poor for buying things that may not be essential, and start shaming the rich for making a profit off things that are essential?
Genetic 'sex testing' is performative, discriminatory, anti scientific & counterproductive.
It should be banned because it's an unacceptable invasion of privacy and it's misogynistic.
The fact it harms cis women is a concequence, the purposeful transphobia is the issue here.

Students aren't the likely group to be shocked and offended by widely differing views. As another commentator said this is just arsehole coded.
Not all views are equal. People are absolutely allowed to buck against extremist, prejudicial speakers being given a microphone and stage to promote hate.
Here's a Label I can get behind for putting on our accounts.
If you have no more fucks to give, this is for you!
Misogyny, homophobia, ableism, transphobia, genocide enablers/excusers, racism, xenophobia, Islamophobia, antisemitism, centrists et al β¦ sorry I have no more fucks to give
Do you?
Men are so emotional and hysterical, they just can't keep their emotions under control! Maybe they shouldn't be in positions of leadership if they can't control themselves!

I don't know what Troughton and Pertwee are doing to make Hartnell smile that way, but he seems pleasantly surprised.
The (first) three Doctors come together to save the universe against Omega. I feel the need to go on ebay and find a copy!

They have a whole library of them on youtube. I find them easy listening while I work. x

This is one of my go to tracks at the moment for chilled writing music that's soft and nice background sound while I write.

Mostly, I listen to instrumental film soundtracks, classical music or a bit of opera where the lyrics are not intrusive to the writing process. Although some of the more dramatic arias can be distracting. I also like what is broadly called chill out music as it just vibes in the background.
Nah, It's more convenient to own the media you want to use and be able to listen to it without adverts, monthly/annual fees & without content being removed so you can't watch it again. Your data isn't sold to tech bros who support far right ideology and you aren't entangled with AI unnecessarilyπ€·π»ββοΈ
A mum comforts her little boy on the bus. He is crying about something. She says, βItβs ok. Have a good cry.β Man nearby: Well done. Weβre so bad at letting boys just feel sad.
Radicalised/angry = women who no longer want to be treated like second class citizens, exploited & abused
The heart of feminism has always been connecting the dots between the intersection of power & money that has been used to silence and oppress minority groups for centuries. We're silent no more
Bwahahaha
Don't get on the train Steve....don't get on the train!

Absolutely this. I was listening to music with no lyrics - I tend to end up writing the lyrics down as I sing along if I write and listen to music with lyrics- but the music was just making me type like a fury monster. I also have too much caffeine in my system which doesn't help!!
Thank you!
It doesn't help that I miscalculated the coffee to water ratio in my cafetiere so I'm now bouncing off the walls, flying on a caffeine high π
Normally music helps me when I write, it blocks out all other sensory imput and allows me to just focus on my writing. Today however, it is doing nothing but distracting me. I'm going to have to give up at 1,123 words because even in silence I can feel my concentration waning. π€¦

The second best thing as a #Writer is feeling that what you're #Writing is great while you're writing it.
The best thing is when you come back the next day, or a later date, to find it's better than you thought it was.
It doesn't always happen, but when it does savour that feeling!

Reporting on the British arm shipments stopped and seized by Belgium.

Kier Starmer in UK parliament yesterday
βI have always been very clear that Britain is not participating in the US/Israeli warβ
Man needs a dictionary with the definition of participation highlighted.
Be more like Belgium!
These arms would have been used by Israel to continue the genocide against #Palestine and flatten #Lebanon to annex land to claim it for their own.
There is some suggestion (although not confirmed) that these crates fully of military equipment were purposefully mislabelled
613 words written this evening
Were they good words that will make into the final draft?
All I know is that it felt good while I was writing them. I felt the creeping fear of Maia as I was writing her staring into the late night/dawn and wondering if her stalker was still watching her.

Note to self. When doing writing research on character's surnames which are based around stars, do not get dragged into looking into the different types of dwarf stars.
Fascinating but not related to my writing

And with all that said, em dashes are nothing to do with AI. This ridiculous urban legend and association needs to stop now.
No one is coming after your em dash and anyone even slightly savvy knows they're nothing to do with AI. Just keep writing folk!

White screen with a black circle and a large exclamation point inside it. Underneath that it says in bold Not Found. Rate limit exceeded Under that in a black rectangular box with rounded edges, it has an arrow in a circle which says try again.
BlueSky is trying it's best to create an existential crisis.
Try to go on my own profile and I'm not found - I don't exist! At some near point, I'm guessing reality will collapse within itself since me being here constitutes a rate limit being exceeded π±π«’π«£
We do use en dashes in the UK but sparingly. While the Oxford comma is becoming more used due to the Americanisation of publishing and software like Word's Spellcheck and Grammerly, it isn't considered standard. See also the use of z in words ending ised in the UK and ized in the USA.

Counterpoint: As an English writer, we find our across the pond country cousins' obsession with em dashes & the Oxford comma cute/frustrating as it's not standard English usage here in the UK.
However, if you want to know the short cuts for both en and em dashes here's a little k-now how

I love this. Its brilliant to see writers who are passionate and in love with their work and want to share that with readers.
