Ah fantastic. Only read the Op-ed. Missed the findings around potential spot for Interbay OMF, but that looks promising. The funnel light rail vehicles to new OMF, while refurbishing central OMF for light metro vehicle, at same time as West Seattle service starts is ambitious! But see viability
As someone who very much wanted this to be the operational alignment, the thing that still feels like a hiccup is where the OMF would go in such a setup?
Nice to see they addressed one of the friction points I had always assumed was there around West Seattle having a record of decision & a different vehicle system would open planning back up. Cool to read Beth Osborne's opinion that there is more flexibility than generally stated.
