It is an illustration of my dnd character, FIn's helm. One of his titles is the Knight of Laurels and I've made him a knight of chivalry, so I gave him an armet style helm with a lot of floral and laurel motifs. There is a laurel leaf design of either side of the top of the helmet and laurel leaves on the visor that look like a laurel wreath. The kingdom Fin is from, Eirene's, flower is the daisy, so I added daisy flowers and leaves for the breath holes.

I've been in a bit of an art rut recently. I drew Fin's helm. The Knight of Laurels needs an appropriate helmet.

An illustration made of my dnd character Fin. I wanted to make an image representing a lot of his scars from 150 years of fighting in the rebellion called the Petal Pluck. I also wanted to not just draw only a torso, so I made a forward facing pose where he is tying up his hair with a tying ribbon being held in his mouth. It was also a great study to draw more lean and muscular male forms, especially because I mostly draw women. For the scars, I wanted a lot of damage to be on his shield arm. Fin has several scars along his arms, his arm pit, and across his chest and torso. There are also a series of burns. The most prominent are projectile entry wounds scattered along his torso. He probably shouldn't have survived these wounds, but that's for a future lore drop.

Fin's taken a lot of hits fighting in a 150 year rebellion and probably shouldn't have survived some of them. This worked out well as both anatomy practice and an illustration to show the party just how beaten up he's gotten over the years and the emphasis of some of his wounds.
