I literally JUST remembered the NT reading I had that day was one I always get too. The synchronicities were synchronicitying. I actually preached (unlicensed; campus ministries are the wild west) a homily on it once 😆
The cherubim throne has been prepared, the bearers are ready and waiting, the bridal chamber is in order, the food is provided, the everlasting houses and rooms are in readiness; the treasures of good things have been opened! Blessed #holysaturday 🌱

It gives me great hope that the story of the Bible, the story doesn’t end with one righteous nation. Or one conquering army. It ends with people from -every- nation. It ends with no weapons, no war, & no empire. It ends with the kingdoms of the world as the Kingdom of our Lord, who is triune love.
St Francis death, or “transitus” depicted surrounded by friars and holy St Clare at his feet
It’s the 799th memorial of the transitus of our holy father, St. Francis of Assisi. St. Francis passed away surrounded by his brothers, his last words from Psalm 142: "Bring my soul out of this prison and then I shall praise your name.”
St. Francis transitioned to eternal life on Oct 3rd 1226.
Happy #TrinitySunday! ✨

@its-robin.bsky.social is always getting after me to post something, so here’s Down Ampney from Mass this morning, along with some shots of pandemic #Pentecost in 2020.

Thanks for always making Sundays fundays! 🫶🏼🔥🕊️
You manifested me back!
I don’t know what to post yet so I’ll just say I went to church for the first time in a few years this Easter Vigil, and it was wonderful to see my friends and to receive Christ in the Sacrament. You don’t realize how much you miss it until you’ve been away for a while.
