Here’s what she found out 🧵

The Just Energy Transition Partnerships are faltering - fresh thinking is needed The JETPs have the right idea on phasing out coal and boosting renewables, but are struggling as geopolitical tensions and Global South debt levels rise

Comment: The fragility of the JET-Ps should be attributed to the means by which they seek to achieve these objectives, the institutions tasked with delivering them, and the global context in which they operate.

The #JETPs are faltering. Development banks could help revive the #JustEnergyTransition Partnerships by increasing their share of grants, avoiding more privatisation, and working for and with communities.
