Some good news today!
SB 1167 would prohibit e-motos from being marketed and sold as e-bikes and hold manufacturers and vendors accountable.
This is critical legislation, as e-motos and e-bikes have been conflated, and without this efforts will increase to restrict e-bikes, reducing e-bike usage.

Here in Nebraska , extreme speeding is on the rise, our State Patrol issuing a decade high 354 tickets for speeds of 100 mph or more during the summer of '25-up from 349 the previous year. A top speed of 165 mph was recorded. Tickets for 100+ mph have increased from 335 in2020 to over 350+ recently.
