Yeah, I didn't realize how much a series that started as a murder mystery moved to those themes. And current events have made those themes more problematic.
"The Messiah is incapable of doing anything wrong. The fault lies with me for misinterpreting his actions."
Battlemechs Painted in green and yellow Jade Falcon colors.
These look great! I did something very similar using Army Painter Speedpaint 2.0 Orc Skin (Lio Green). I really like your cockpit color, what did you use?
I grew up in Missouri and moved to Michigan. After 25 years I'm still uncomfortable stepping over a log without checking for a copperhead on the other side.
I thought tick checks were also a thing of my past, but global warming has made that a thing in Michigan now.
I just want a simple, easy to find toggle for turning off AI in my apps.
Bad Google Maps! I don't need or want AI assistance to give me directions to work.
Sounds like something that could easily be legislated.
Follow your muse and have fun!
BattleTech miniatures from the Gothic box. A Firestarter painted red and an Urbanmech blue, red and gold.
One will protect the city while the other tries to burn it down. An Urbanmech and Firestarter from the #Battletech Gothic set.
This is a high society Coffee & Jesus spoon. You can tell by the period.
My favorite is Record of a Spaceborn Few. So much emotion wrapped up in this book.
Murderbot is one of my favorite literary characters of all time across all genres!
One of my favorites!
Why do they have toes?
I think too many people think that political and partisan are the same thing. When a work has political ideas, some people automatically put the creator into a partisan category. Getting upset at you for being woke just because you used they as a singular pronoun is a great example.
My Yeahs? Yeah yeah
They missed the chance to mention that electricity from solar and wind is also cheaper. Conservatively everyone's electric bill would be half what is in now and as a whole America would save $250 billion annually. Over the 20 year life of a solar panel that's a $5 trillion dollar savings!
"Your electric car is inefficient because it uses energy to run the heater in the winter."
"No, my dude. You don't notice the difference because your car is making lots of heat every time you drive. Mine only produces heat when I want it."
BattleTech: The Animated Series from 1994 canonically exists in the BattleTech universe as a work of fictional war propaganda.

"Oil and gas prices may be up, Rosenow says, but the sun and wind don't care what's happening in the Strait of Hormuz."
This is why for the Stoic philosophers the first question you ask yourself when making a decision is "Is this necessary?". It makes you focus on what is essential about a decision.
Hear me out, maybe you're working in a sweatshop and don't have time for lunch...
Came out one morning and my car had turned into a brick. It turns out that one of the computers had gone bad. Driving a Volt, everyone assumed it was an electric car issue.
Nope, it could have happened to any modern car. They all have multiple computers linked together.
Yep, the boy and I woke up early to see clouds.
My favorite part was finding out if you decline a meeting it's gone forever. If your schedule frees up and you are now able to go, too bad! You must live with your choice forever!
I'm scared to see what Superman's values will be after Warner Brothers/DC is taken over by Paramount and Ellison. It will break my heart to have him turned MAGA.
DC comics is under this umbrella.
No more Superman Smashing the klan or punching Nazis.
Very depressing.
It's one of the things about this set that makes sense.
I'd want to knife fight with someone that gave me these and would appreciate the finger protection.
A finger guard on a dinner knife is an interesting touch.
"I never thought the leopards would eat my ENTIRE face", sobs person who let the Leopards Eating People's Faces Party eat their nose.
Would Grave of the Fireflies qualify?
