irresponsible reporting. absolute dreck. the post office is mostly self funding and is price locked by Congress. on top of that it is a public service, not a business.

The USPS does not receive taxpayer money and has not received taxpayer money since the 1970s.

I think it's for the common good that we keep USPS, but it's not funded by taxes. If you're not buying stamps, you're not paying for it.
