Q: How do I unlock Sunglasses Macron?
A: It's very difficult to unlock Sunglasses Macron in the course of a normal game because it requires a specific and unlikely sequence of events. While default Macron is ruler of France, the USA must choose the monarchy path and then lay claim to Greenland.
Oldest documents we could find, deeds dated:
- 1792, mentioning the king (3 years into the Revolution and a few months before the monarchy was abolished & Louis XVI guillotined)
- 1798 (dated using the revolutionary calendar, “22 floréal year 6”)

Lorelei and the Laser Eyes was maybe my favorite game to play this year. It's also proof that you can make a game that's a love letter to cinema without turning it into a vaguely interactive and mostly linear "prestige" cinematic experience. Games don't have to be movies to be culturally relevant.
