I'm making a list of small press companies who are interested in queer YA and/or adult novels. Please comment with recommendations.

I've decided to get back to the query trenches with my YA LGBTQIA++ mystery novel. In some ways, it's a shitty hard time to pitch a queer book. And also, someone out there needs to see a nonbinary hero of their own story.
And so, I will persist.

Drew is situationally confident. Put a flogger in his hand and present him with a willing bottom and he's all swagger. Put him at a table with a prospective boyfriend and he'll second guess his second guesses until they part ways at the door.

Nathan is gonna fake-it-til-he-makes-it. He presents as assured, confident, upbeat and outgoing persona because that's what he believes people want to see and what will help him achieve his goals.

Privately he still feels like a pretender in his new management role.

Not that it does any good, but I am enraged that they keep pulling trans people into this drama. They want to hate and disappear us, why are they so desperate to find reasons? Is it just to sway fence sitters? I'm sure the NYT piece explains it but I don't have access.

If you have knowledgeable staff at the pot store, let them know what kind of high you want and they should be able to recommend something. The are so many good formulas available. I prefer edibles now and I was a huge pothead back in the day, smoking it all the time.
