I think my impression with this drawing at the time was that this alien came to Earth and ended up finding a shop where he took the "party gurl" shirt and the orange cat backpack (which isn't super visible). He got hurt in the process, hence the damaged eyeball. Drawn 2013-08-14

This was an original character of mine at the time, from a series I was planning called "MezzoPazzo". His name was Oreko Kintai, which at the time was randomly chosen because it sounded like it could be a Japanese name to me. However, upon looking up his name, apparently "oreko" can be short for "being folded under something" and "kintai" can either mean "diligent", "modern" in terms of style, or it can refer to a bacteria's body. Here's a bunch of my old art. Back when I used to draw more frequently, I began doing a quick "daily doodle" thing. It only lasted about a month or so, but here's a few of my favorites:

I mean, my job plays music, so definitely every work day.
On the weekends, most of the time. I'm sure there *must* have been some days where I haven't listened to anything, but they're extremely rare. 🤷
