Haha! I wish it did! But it can help lessen anxiety, or make it worse, that’s brought on by trying to live safely in a world that’s in total denial of the constant threat of Covid. 🙃

I used to have sympathy for most people because I believed they were in the dark about the true health risks of Covid because public health is purposely quiet about it, but even when you tell them, a few weeks later they’ll say “I don’t know why my kid is always sick” and I just can’t anymore

COVlD cases need to fall "well below 10,000" per day for the country to achieve some semblance of pre-pandemic life.

A politician working in PUBLIC SERVICE who complains they’re the most scrutinized person in the country is a politician with a lot of things to hide from the public. #ONpoli

Haha! I didn’t mean to imply you’re tough to be around! 😬 If I’m being honest, I was probably projecting what I need, tho my stress level warning system for the people I live with would be mini Cadbury chocolate bar wrappers. If I get to 4 empty wrappers, fair warning to handle me with extra care 😅

One of my co-workers mixed together vinegar and bleach this morning, so uh, just a reminder for everyone that's dangerous as fuck!

That’s a good early warning signal for your partner, leave the 3 empty cans by the front door next to where the keys go so he can easily assess what he’s walking into and be aware and supportive: Ah I see we’re at Dr. Pepper DEFCON 3. Let’s save this Visa bill for tomorrow.

What's happening to healthcare in Alberta is potentially coming for all of us in Canada. Insurance companies will want this everywhere, and there doesn't seem to be much protecting Canada and its citizens at a federal level, @mark-carney.bsky.social. It's legitimately upending. #CdnPoli #CanPoli

So far this year, I have gotten more calls from people who want to sue for the right to marry an AI they're in love with than I have from people arrested for protesting, and I feel like that says a lot about the moment we're in right now. I don't know what it says exactly, but it says a lot.

Coachella is trying to wipe all of the footage of The Strokes protest set so I’m gonna post it here. The last images on the screen made me cry.

The gravy plane flew too close to the sun and its wings melted.

Will it do lasting damage? The Ontario voter is selective in its outrage & memory.

Interesting what moves this province. Democracy undermined, no. Health care, no. Da plane, oui.

If we had a catchy phrase like Gravy Plane for the Science Centre, it would still be open.

Black and white photo of two Black male ballet dancers, shirtless in black tights. The one behind is in a second position plie on demi pointe, leaning slightly with his arms out to the side one curved up, one curved down. The second man is in front of the first on one knee facing us and his arms are curved in the opposite way so the men's arms appear to join forming an elegant looping infinity symbol.

A photo of the side of a modern building in Manchester this afternoon.
It gas long vertical sections with diagonal metal strips and diagonal glass panels.
Reflected in the glass is the nearby John Rylands Library, a gothic style building built in around 1890.

Not all, of course. But most of us.
And I don’t just mean ‘making peace with it’.

I mean: it's bound up with who we are.

For us, autism doesn't feel like some detachable defect. Take it away – and you don’t leave me, just improved. You change who I am.

This iconic 1984 photo is often called one of the most terrifying space images ever.

During STS-41-B on Space Shuttle Challenger, astronaut Bruce McCandless II became the first person to perform an untethered spacewalk.

Repeated COVID (infections) are ruining education.

People like to attribute kids failing to do the work to the few months they spent at home in 2020. Choosing to ignore that Covid causes measurable brain impairment and cumulative cognitive deficits in not only adults, but children too.
