But that’s what you are asking for. You’re asking a creator, who also happens to be a woman to “parent” her fans. If Dana wanted kids that’s her choice, the fandom are not her children. She has called people out in the past, but why are you specifically calling HER out. It’s very parasocial behavior

I get the sentiment, but it’s not Dana’s responsibility nor any other creator’s duty to police their fandom 24/7. The onus shouldn’t be on creators, especially women creators (which funny that they get constantly singled out that the need to parent their fandom). People need to learn to behave.

I feel this struggle so much. I had to do physical book, internet archive and search for old websites made in the early 00s with bibliography citations to do research for project I’m working on. There is so much slop everywhere that even books you have to look at the pub year to be safe.

I have a friend outside the industry more familiar with the other business antics the Ellisons do outside of entertainment and honestly sounds about right.

The only conclusions you can really come to are either gross incompetence/don’t give a fuck or something far more sinister and scummy.

I’m not into speculation normally, but considering the personal friends and colleagues of mine that *curiously* didn’t have their contracts renewed or had their positions cut without warning a few months after the merger completed is hmmmm 🤔
