I concur. I appreciate existing in the US with a president that is pure narcissistic-brainstem in his speech, decisions, and general countenance.
The real question is what will it take for me to do my chores, and the answer is possibly robots.

When I was 12 or 13, I stumbled upon Sagan and Clarke's fiction. I liked Star Wars and thought "space, yay." I didn't realize I was changing the course of my person hood. My name is taken from the novel Contact, I admired the main character, she was a shining star in my small, dark hometown.

Collateral is such a great movie. An amazing pair of performances, slick cinematography, amazing pace with moments that let the movie breathe. I saw this first when I was 13, release year, and damn does it hold up today.
I really WANT to like anime but I find the writing lacking nearly every time I try to watch one. The art and animation is so good in a lot of anime. Miyazaki brings the heat both in animation and writing.
Superman was fine. I probably am too burnt out on the trope of a super hero to have even warranted seeing the movie. But I had time and wanted to get out of the house. Superheroes ought to the way of the dodo.
