I love the 1930s reproduction fabrics! Here you can see a bird shapes made made from the plus the cheerful red and white backing. Quilting pattern is a wind-like scroll.

We sat on the deck tonight with a glass of wine and listened to all the spring voices. Parkas and tuques notwithstanding, it was amazing 😊 So here’s a quilt of birds in honor of spring. Pattern is “Feathers”. Make all the fiddly beaks at once and then it’s OK.

I know this is pedantic, but there's something so funny to me about this dude loving Guernica so much but not enough to look up if it's spelled correctly.
