Warehouses on fire, Molotov thrown at Sam Altman’s house, a data center supporting politician’s home shot at — attacks on the ruling class have begun.
Every attacker will now be deemed a terrorist, that’s inevitable.
But what the ruling class doesn’t want you to know is they made this inevitable.
Welcome back to the Artemis II crew :) Such a huge relief watching them arrive safely!

The embargo for the Forza Horizon 6 preview drops today.
Please consider standing in solidarity with @nogamesforgenocide.com and not signalling to Xbox (and largely Microsoft) that they can count on your money.
There's no right/wrong way to protest, but you can pledge your support 🎮

in 2016 a group of strangers in Kazakhstan saved a dog from drowning by forming a human chain to reach him. they just unveiled a statue commemorating the event and I'm genuinely about to start sobbing

Definitely terrifying to hear, considering that's exactly the goal of those chasing it:

The thought of Newsome v Carlson in '28 is genuinely horrifying

Eddington did have some heavy-handed, nigh-cringe parts, but I think that intentionally serves the theme/idea of getting distracting away from the big tech element. I also thought using covid as a narrative device was clever too. Idk, it's a neat comparison though.
I getcha, I prefer a revolutionary group as a story focus too, but I wish there was more meat to that, more from Benicio's portion especially. I can't fault it too much for not focusing more on theory tho; a book club would be unwatchable haha. I gotta watch it again though tbf.
I've seen a couple people say this, so I finally watched Eddington last night. I don't think it's a better film (subjective tastes aside), but I think its politics are more interesting. There's more to chew on in Eddington. That could be recency bias though; I'm already due for an OBAA rewatch tbf.
Anyway here’s a video of Ryan Coogler’s speech for winning best screenplay for Sinners on Jan 13 at the NBR, which he uses to talk about Minnesota and Renee Good and whether or not filmmaking can empower political change
