The tile depresses, and the effect is instant. Good thing she wore stretchy clothes today

Usually, you want to step off the trap after setting it off. She doesn't seem too displeased with the results, at least.

The traps in these dungeons get weirder all the time. Armor protects against most of them, antidotes cover almost the rest. Trap doors require remodeling. Sometimes you gotta get creative to protect your treasure.

Or maybe it's just the dungeoneer's bearly disguised kink

I think if you're arguing that there's too many cutscenes, you might be playing the wrong game. I generally always engage with them because I want to know the story, so the only time I'd say there's "too much" is when there's a genuine lack of gameplay to follow it up.
