Luna’s Friday Takeover: Penguins, Paw Balm, & Surviving Illinois Winter Mama’s body is very dramatic. My job is to notice before it steals the spotlight. This week, Illinois tried to freeze us into decorative lawn statues, Mama caught a cold, and I acquired a penguin pillow that I absolutely require for sleeping. We’re operating under Extreme Cold Protocol, which means fast potty trips, paw balm inspections, indoor enrichment, and aggressive blanket usage. Mama has a few bruises from her PET scan last week, which I do not approve of. I’ve been supervising closely, applying comfort, and keeping an eye on her breathing like the professional I am. Winter is loud. Bodies are tired. Care still happens. I’m right here. Always.

Winter tried it.
Illinois chose violence.
I chose blankets, paw balm, and professional supervision. 🐾❄️

Mama’s healing. I’m watching.
