1. Last week I watched #DuneAwakening on YouTube. Survival game in the Dune universe, with actual gunplay and quests mixed in. Wanted to play it on my laptop during work. Ran terribly. Refunded after 40 minutes. Spent the next two days looking for something else.
As the night draws in on #DuneAwakening, I'm left wondering in the dark, where the game is going and if I still have a place there. 10 Months of Questionable decisions leading the game to be in a worse state than launch.
Am I holding on to hope? or Just waiting for something else to come along?

The development team realizes that 80% of their player community prefers PvE content, and would be more than happy to stick around if they had an option to just play the game without being attacked.
It looks to me like @funcom.bsky.social is shaping #DuneAwakening to be similar in scope to #ConanExiles which regularly has had concurrent player counts at or higher than Dune. With their metrics showing over 80% of the retained player base is PvE, why not double down on that.
