Okay but serious theorycrafting now from an angle I have not seen discussed, The Knight is definitely a shapeshifter, an ability we have not seen from any Lightner. They become like static, they become a ball, grow and retract stomach teeth mouth, even their SWORD shapeshifts if you examine all the sprites with it. Yet they can still enter the light world so they have to be at minimal part Lightner. We don't know what happened to Dess. We know she disappeared, but is she still living? Dead? Lost in a realm between? We don't know for absolute certain. All we know for certain is she is missing and there's a voice in the codes that may or may not be her. What if Her SOUL separated from her in the Dark World, and a lesser Titan has basically assumed her body? That's why the Knight wants the Roaring. To free other Titans and take over Kris, Carol, and anyone else in on what actually happened are opening Dark Worlds to try and find Dess' soul. That's why the big thing with this game is "find Dess". Because they know where her body is, but not the soul, and until they can reunite the two, they fear if they remove the Titan, she'll become dust. This is my main piece as why I personally think Dess theories are strongest, but of course it's just theory for now and gotta wait for more chapters to see we're all wrong and it's actually a secret 5th Holiday family member lol
