Wanted to check windows update is safe-Used #DuckDuckgo - it only returned #microsoft pages-100s of them. I finally got rid of them and it aid there was no info-it said I should watch youtube kids.
Go to youtube find hundreds of vids that 'dont exist' Even google finds pages other than #microslop

Review by Pax Ahimsa Gethen I didn't even realize I had this extension until I was troubleshooting not being able to see the comments section on a site I frequent, a problem that just started a couple weeks ago. When I disabled the extension, I could see the comments section again, but a lot of ads started appearing on other sites I visit that apparently had been hidden by this extension. I tried to explain this to someone at the site with the comments section, but they weren't very helpful. So for now I'm just toggling the extension off for that site and then back on again for other sites. I wish there were a way to turn this extension off per-site as there is with Firefox's Enhanced Tracking Protection.

I don't find DDG nearly as good for web search as I used to. But one cool thing about it, is that I can use it to conveniently search using other services, using "bangs".
For example if I type "!w" in my search query, it's redirects to Wikipedia and their internal search. "!fsd" similarly […]

So I ran out of free searches with #Kagi about a week ago (thanks to @mvexel for giving me a free trial). Right after switching from #DuckDuckGo I didn't get the impression that Kagi was better. But now that I switched back to DDG, I'm less satisfied with the search results. :thinking:
Well, since my #Mullvad #VPN subscription is expiring at the end of the month I took a look at #DuckDuckGo's "subscriptions" which includes VPN and the more advanced models in Duck.ai and am thoroughly disappointed and unimpressed.
