See, no one ever necessarily talked about it out loud but there was good reason aside from the immortal bull shit that their crew gaining broken members went to a crawl after Horror. Nightmare never truly just up and kidnapped anyone for his team, no. He found your AU full of suffering and if you begged him enough to be free of your situation or try to follow him he'd ask you a few simple questions.
