The instant we were down to the last NED I got FIVE Mystery Waltzes in a row, and a pair of comet casts that almost ended the dream, but some VERY ill-advised phoenix downs and a final 8000 damage flare blade sword dance by krile took out the final of 11 exdeaths for 2024 #ff5fjf2024

A boss fight against Exdeath, antagonist of Final Fantasy 5. A character in a one-on-one fight against the huge imposing warrior has hit a critical hit for 2592 damage, and is being healed for the same amount, because his attack was enchanted with a health stealing spell.
OH. I SEE. So the health drain spellblade applies to sword dance damage.
Every time I have Dancer in a Fiesta run I discover another shenanigan with sword dance.

WHEW that one was a nail-biter. I wiped out 5 times to various dumb mistakes, and in the end it was a long drawn-out fight cursed by a complete lack of critical hits and GARBAGE sword dance luck. But in the end !dualcast was the real mvp by letting me Libra the 2 remaining parts at once! #ff5fjf2024
FF5 Fiesta Update: I didn't stream grinding in barrier tower because it's boring. However, thanks to a hot tip from a 20 year old walkthrough I have discovered that HOLY SHIT is Monk/Dancer a COMBO. You can BAREHAND CRIT on a SWORDS DANCE. AND YOU STILL ATTACK TWICE.

NED number 5 is down. This run was fun overall, but endgame kinda sucked. I ended up not even USING rapid-fire- just four 9999-damage dragon aevis releases, flare and firaga, with some very clutch paralyze from the whip to stop Grand Cross. #ff5fjf2024
What's worse- fighting a team of wizards and getting stabbed to death by someone doing a saucy jig, or having a tiny nude man teabag your corpse while hanging dong? #ff5fjf2024
