Panel 1: Edmond Dantes from Fate/Grand Order looks up at a shining star surrounded by a prism of light. Panel 2: Dazzled at this sight, he thinks to himself, “This… this summoning shouldn’t be possible!” Meanwhile the first ascension outfit of this particular spirit origin begins to reform around him. In this panel we see his top hat and prosthetic left arm take shape. Panel 3: As he reaches for the light before him with his gloved right hand, he laughs internally. “You never cease to surprise me, my accomplice!” Panel 4: Surrounded by a prism of light, Edmond Dantes takes form in Chaldea. Panel 5: Usagi, my sona, looks up in alarm. “It worked?!” She says aloud. This panel is uncolored. Panel 6: This is the only panel to be in full color. Edmond stands before Usagi with a smile, which she returns with a tear in her eye. “Very well,” Edmond’s internal monologue continues. “Who am I to refuse such an earnest call?”

A full sketchbook page featuring a drawing - well, two technically - of Edmond Dantes from Fate/Grand Order. He is surrounded by bits of flame and darkness as he has made peace with his fate to burn up and disappear into the void. But then he hears a distant familiar voice, singing as if to call him back to her side. These lyrics are written throughout the page: When the light is running low And the shadows start to grow And the places that you know / seem like fantasy There’s a light inside your soul That’s still shining in the cold With the truth / the promise in our hearts Don’t forget “Is that…?” Edmond thinks to himself with his good eye wide open. In the bottom right are the final lyrics: “I’m with you in the dark.”
