He was an angry child who outgrew it, finding ways to channel himself into cleric purpose. When his sister died, he found himself angry all over again - mostly at himself.
His patience and gentle nature, while true to himself, are learned. (1)
Lyria has buried her feelings fearful of the Urge leveraging it - so when it hits, it's harder.
The biggest one she feels: guilt. But she hides it, sneaks away to be alone where she can't hurt anyone to play her music and let it out, angry, bitter, sad, raw.

He admires the complexity of people's nature, an observer who finds deep joy in learning more about the people who navigate the world alongside him.
It's a colour pairing I associate with Lyria and Astarion, particular shade of purple and red - and they often switch. So she'll have his red, and him her purple (like the gems in the rings).
Food wise: coffee and cake. Can be sweet or bitter, fuels their chaos
