Vox: oh you radio piece of shit!! Fuck you!! Alastor sneak attacks Vox and then fight. Vaggi: Charlie, we’ve got an opening! Now’s our chance! Charlie, reluctantly: r-right! Selene pushes the beam back, while Vox panics “oh fuck fuck fuck fuuuuck!! T-this is impossible!! How?! “Stop it! No, stay away!” He yells as Selene finally pushes the energy back enough, causing a large explosion. Vox is sent flying away from the force.

Selene and the cannon both crackle with electricity, the weapon no longer firing. Vox regains his standing, with Vaggi, Dee and Charlie looking on in awe.

Selene: “Charlie… everyone… are you all… alright…?” She says wearily. Charlie: y-yeah! We’re okay! That was amazing!” Selene turns around, the color draining from her eyes. “ that’s… good to hear… im glad you’re…” she stops.

Suddenly, Selene falls over, drained from the energy used to push back the force of Vox’s weapon. Vaggi, Charlie and Emily are in shock. Charlie:”D-Dee!!!”

Vox’s anger grows - “little”? You’re looking down on me…? Unbelievable…” He hooks his wires to the weapon and aims at Charlie and her friends as Dee reaches down Vox-“ you won’t take this away so easily, princess…!” Charlie cheers Dee on “yeah, go Dee!” Vaggi looks over and notices the machines aim.

Vox:”Lets see you barely hear this, you fucking idiot!” He cackles as the weapon charges up Lucifer is used as energy “ ow ok I don’t like this!! Auuugh!!” Vaggi:” Get down!!” she places herself in front of Charlie and Emily Emily is distressed, as is Charlie-:” Dee! Watch out!” Selene/Dee’s attention is increased.

Vox launches a beam of energy, Vaggi, Charlie, and Emily brace for impact but are covered by shadow. Charlie peeks out, and sees Dee blocking the energy beam.

Charlie- :” Dee! She’s… she’s pushing back the laser…!” Vox:” what?! Are you fucking kidding me?!” Dee struggles against the power of the beam, but slowly pushes the beam back.

Vox yells up at Selene, excuse me! Hey! Dee looks down. Vox: sorry didn’t hear you say you’re here for “the Morningstar”? - referring to Lucifer Vox: isnt it funny that you— he’s cut off as Selene reaches to grab the laser. Vox: hey! Fuck no! Stop, hold on!! - he electric jumps ahead of her hand.

Vox is in front of the laser: it’s just sooo cute that you’ve come to rescue your little angel… when you know he didn’t do the same for you! He recalls Angel Dust mentioning Dee staying at the hotel when he hypnotized him, mining for information on her. Vox: didn’t he leave you benign in an also seemingly inescapable prison? You protected him, and had to escape on your own! And what did he do? He left you behind! Lost, forgotten, alone!” Images of Selene/Dee’s escape from the sol cage and how it scarred her in the past play in the background.

Vox: and now here you are, as the jealous ex! Desperate for vengeance, trying to destroy Lilith’s dreams! Her family!- he tries to emotionally manipulate Selene using the information he pulled from Angel Dust. Selene pulls her hand back. Charlie: no! You know that’s not true, Dee! Vaggi: Vox is just stalling! Hurry and destroy the machine!! Emily: I’m not sure what’s happening, but don’t listen to him, giant lady! He’s mean!

Selene is confused: … huh? What are you fucking talking about? Wait, have you been talking to me this whole time? Vox is stunned, his speech had no effect: uhh, yeah— Dee: I can barely hear you! You’re so very little and so far away…! Just let me destroy this laser thing, grab my Morningstar and you can all go back to your concert, ok?- she reaches back out once more. Charlie is amazed, Dee wasn’t fazed by Vox’s words. Vaggi lands next to Charlie, Emily is also amazed by viewing a Titan.

Selene looms over Vee tower in her Titan form menacingly “Oh what the fuck is this?! Now I have to deal with this giant moon monster thing!!” Vox exasperates.

“Give him back…! Give back my Morningstar!” Selene demands “Dee!” Charlie is surprised to see her in her giant Titan form. Emily is surprised “ who is that? Another friend of yours?” She has never seen a Titan before and does not recognize Selene.

“Dee! We need to stop the weapon!” Charlie waves trying to get Selene’s attention. Emily notes the titans name is “Dee?” “Vaggie! Can you fly up there and get her to help?” Charlie asks as Vaggie flys up to Selene, who acknowledges her presence. “Dee! We need your help”! Vaggi pleads.

Vaggi explains that Lucifer is trapped underneath the laser and that Selene should be able to free him with her strength and size if she destroys the machine. Dee agrees to the plan. Meanwhile Lucifer has no idea what is going on. “What’s that noise…? Was that me? Am I hungry? What did I eat for dinner last night? Wait, what did I eat for dinner last week?! Oh this is gonna bug me all night.”

I was wondering about this "counter attack" that happened immediately after Vox fired the canon, and at first I thought it might have been some sort of automated missile system. But now that I think about it, I think these two objects are the gates of Heaven.
