Day 720 of gamedev. Monkey finished the first iteration of the unwinnable fight. There are now shield effects. Monkey also build a system to skip Level Sequences that have Event Triggers in them. With this i can still trigger the fight event, even though it is not played. #gamedev #indigame #indidev

If you're just getting into animations in Godot, the AnimationTree might seem a bit overwhelming. However it's a very flexible system with lots of potential nested organization for your needs. @stayathomedev.bsky.social has a nice tutorial on using it.

Sparsely has been producing some awesome game art productivity programs for iPad for a bit. They aren’t as well known as zbrush or nomad but their sculpting/modeling tools are pretty darn robust.
