Isn't that gorgeous? The statue pops, the text location and size makes more sense. Clearly someone with taste got ahold of my ideas, and shaped them into something beautiful and useful, and that would be Tanner who knocked it out in a half-hour, I believe.
Thanks to @reelrank.bsky.social (Tanner) who banged out a much-more-competent version of my 1st-year image in (literally) 1/10th the time it took me last year.

What set Mark off, if anyone is curious, is that I was playing video games in the living room, where he made us put them so we could be watched (they're total fucking creeps, my parents, and wanted to watch everything everyone was doing constantly), and my mom had the nerve to say to me, "Every time I look up you’re on that goddamned video game,” which was 1. A total lie, and 2. Hilarious that she was so irritated she ‘took the Lord’s name in vain,’ which was something she usually pretended she cared about, so I felt pretty loose and flippant, and shot back, without looking, “Well, look up more often, then. I barely play it.” And my dad LOST HIS SHIT. It was also hilarious. I wasn’t worried he’d hurt me, because there were too many eyeballs there in the living room, so it was just immediately hysterical how triggered he was, and he stormed over to where I was playing it, ripped both systems out of the wall, fucked up the plaster and drywall and wallpaper, and the table the TV was sitting on, the TV, too, lol, and dragged this big ball of appliance-wires and consoles and controllers to our deck, and tried to gather it all (it was like a Mr. Bean film, watching this; I was dying laughing immediately, like, DOUBLED OVER, crying and gasping, I was laughing so hard) and hurl it down the three stories to the basement patio, and he finally managed to do it, and he’d just tuckered himself all out by the time he came back inside. Oh, my god, I’m dying laughing NOW just typing it. It’s one of my happiest memories with my terrible, dumb father 😂
I did not mean to get this deep into #KCookandCatsCo #personallore, but this was so funny to me as I started to write it up, I couldn't stop 🤣
Read it or don't, idc, but it's sincerely 1 of my happiest memories w/ my dad, if that tells you anything about our relationship.

It's a blend of new and old awards. Ocean's Eleven is Best of the Best for Music, Rosencrantz & Guildenstern Are Dead is Best of the Best for Writing, and American Psycho holds the top-top slot as our greatest all-time film. Also, the best Music of 2025 was The Secret Agent, and Train Dreams had the best Editing and Visuals of 2025, I feel.
Get hyped! These will be out as soon as I finish writing them. How many Miaouscar winners this year?? Last year, we had 7, which struck me as a lot, and I suspect it may be fewer this year.

Here's the full slate of 6 awards for 2025! If you can't see it, here's how it broke down: Best Design: Hamnet Best Music: The Secret Agent Best Editing: Train Dreams Best Directing: Hamnet (Chloé Zhao) Best Visuals: Train Dreams Best Acting: Hamnet Best Writing: Bugonia Best Film: Hamnet And having seen all 10 Best Picture noms, and a handful of the other nominees, I feel very good about that class of winners.
Some folks are more visual learners, and here, the movie posters accompany the awards, which you have read on the other alt-text. Hamnet appears four times (makes sense; it was, by far, my favorite), Train Dreams awarded twice, and Bugonia and The Secret Agent both awarded once, and again, that feels very right based on the mouth feel and apparent qualities of those films.
