5色縛りと思ったけどうっかりohuhuは6色
使った色はイラストに書いてあるにゃ
紙はDAISOのケント紙
DAISOは影の色が今回の組み合わせだとないのでウオームグレーを使用
ohuhuは薄い紫色で髪の濃淡と影を表現
気づいたけどDAISOはほっぺの色を塗り忘れてます。
感想聞けると嬉しいにゃ

Ohuhuの48＋1が届いたので
ブルースカイ落ちている間に色見本作成。
肌色に使えるのが多そうなパステルカラー
並べてみないとわからない位の差の色や、もしかして一生つかないかもという微妙な差のペンもある。
紙は同じくOhuhuのスケッチブックで試しました。
同じ紙でDAISOだと濃く出るものも名前通りの色になる気がする。

I'll share more about her backstory as the fiction I'm writing involving her is further fleshed out, but her design inspirations come from a number of questions I found myself asking about depictions of myconids in science fiction and fantasy works, including taking direct cues from some of my favorite groups in the animal kingdom. I began by asking what a nomadic culture of myconids would look like, rather than those who solely lived in a vast underdark like in Forgotten Realms and quickly found myself rejecting the typical depiction of tree-trunk appendages and forsaking of clothes or gear. Taking inspiration from the spindly proportions and massive eyes of Deinopidae spiders - which, ironically, don't move around all that much - I landed on a lithe and lean body plan for this character. Nemertea worms meanwhile informed the the array of underlying tendrils connecting the hardbody carapace together, and the fruiting body I began to ask what a justification could be used for it aside from "just" a hat, landing on living hard drives. The markings on the scarf and robes are taken from how I "see" fungus music when I've listened to it (seriously, if you haven't looked up sonified fungal electrical signals, do it, it's rad), and last but certainly not least for now is how the rifle is inspired in function by the Martini Henry and its shell inspired by Scaly-foot gastropods both in color and array of shapes.
Finally finished my full-color reprisal of Sitting Pretty with #Ohuhu alcohol markers. This #characterdesign is one of mine I've wanted to see properly rendered on paper for a long time and she's probably my favorite #oc I've sketched and come up with so far; more in alt-text.

the same work in progress, but with some preliminary alcohol marker colors added to everything except jayce's facial hair (meaning both beard and eyebrows) and the gold parts of his armor. for now, his hair is almost blond. my color palette is limited to pastel shades, so i'm building up layers of my most saturated and dark markers to indicate darkest parts of the image. the background is a streaky-clouded sky with tan, purple, and blue-ish shades.
everything is colored in with a base color, and i've started adding shading to jayce's armor.
the marker shading is more developed on the entire image, and i've begun adding black brush pen to jayce's features and hair.
