This dataset provides a complete historical record of all recipients of the King's Award for Enterprise (previously The Queen's Award to Industry) from its inception in 1965 to the most recent announced recipients. The award recognises outstanding UK business achievements in the following categories: innovation, international trade, sustainability and promoting opportunity (through social mobility). The data is updated annually as soon as each new cohort of recipients is officially announced. While the information is available publicly via The Gazette, this dataset offers a consolidated, downloadable CSV version through the Government's public data service.
