She is a flying fish mermaid, by the way! Specifically based on the yellow-winged flying fish. And she does literally fly, she's made for fantasy settings with powers flexible enough that she can find a way out of the ocean. So, technically, I've always been calling her AIRmaid.

Style change!!! This character has gone through so many designs already.. And now, with a more serious setting to put her in, it was only natural to try something else with her :p
