(사진=NTT도코모스튜디오&라이브) ‘~ of the world ~’에는 ‘Physics ~ 物理的な ~’, ‘Chance ~ 사랑이라 말하기 전에 ~’, ‘Silence ~ body and soul ~’, ‘Patience ~ 오직 너와 ~’, ‘Paradise ~ I need you ~’, ‘Outro ~ of the world ~’와 ‘Chance ~ 사랑이라 말하기 전에 ~’ 한국어 버전까지 총 7곡이 들어갔다. 일본어·영어·한국어가 함께 쓰인 트랙명과 부제는 현실과 가상, 언어 사이를 오가는 콘셉트를 드러낸다. 선공개로 먼저 공개된 두 곡은 앨범의 방향을 미리 보여주는 역할을 했다. ‘Physics ~ 物理的な ~’는 낯선 신세계에서 서로에게 이끌려 새로운 공간을 만들어 가는 과정을 중력 같은 물리 법칙에 빗대 표현했다. 이어 ‘Chance ~ 사랑이라 말하기 전에 ~’는 가능성이 거의 없는 운명 속에서도 기적처럼 사랑이 이뤄지길 바라는 마음을 담았다. 두 곡에 얹힌 상징적인 기기 설정도 눈길을 끌었다. 중력을 조절하는 프리즘 와치, 사랑의 확률을 읽어내는 스카우터 등 특정 역할을 가진 디바이스들이 등장해 ‘신세계의 사랑법’이라는 콘셉트를 보다 입체적으로 구성했다. 이 장치는 이후 수록곡 전반으로 확장돼 각기 다른 감정 상태와 선택을 비춘다. 수록곡 중 ‘Silence ~ body and soul ~’은 빛으로 모습을 바꾸는 펜던트가 오작동하면서 요사스러운 모습으로 변해버린 상황을 그린다. 코스모시는 펜던트 오류로 인해 허망함에 빠진 소녀들을 어두운 분위기로 풀어내며, 컨트롤에 실패한 뒤의 감정선을 따라간다. ‘Patience ~ 오직 너와 ~’는 감정을 조종하는 피리를 소재로 삼는다. 이 곡에서는 타인의 마음을 조절하려던 시도가 오히려 자신을 향해 돌아와, 소녀들이 스스로 마음을 봉인해 버리는 아이러니가 중심에 놓인다. 사랑을 다루는 도구가 결국 스스로를 가두는 매개가 되는 모양새다. ‘Paradise ~ I need you ~’는 5개 디바이스 중 반지를 통해 가상 공간에서라도 사랑을 실행해 보려는 모습을 담았다. 현실 대신 가상에 기대는 선택을 통해 그리움과 애틋함을 드러내며, 동일한 세계관 안에서 또 다른 방식의 사랑을 제시한다. 전체적으로는 디바이스들이 실패한 뒤에도 다양한 형태로 관계를 붙들려는 시도를 잇는 흐름이다. 트랙 구성에서 눈에 띄는 변화는 ‘Chance ~ 사랑이라 말하기 전에 ~’ 한국어 버전 수록이다. 이 곡은 애초 발매 계획에 없었으나 선공개 이후 한국 팬들의 반응이 이어지면서 최종 목록에 포함됐다. 팬들의 요청이 실제 앨범 구성에 반영된 사례로, 코스모시와 한국 팬덤 사이 교감의 결과물이기도 하다. 비주얼 측면에서도 기존과 다른 방향을 취했다. 코스모시는 최근 공개한 콘셉트 포토에서 요괴를 떠올리게 하는 강한 스타일링을 보여주며 변신을 알렸다. ‘신세계의 사랑법’이라는 설정과 요괴를 연상시키는 이미지가 겹치면서, 사랑과 오류, 낯선 존재감을 한데 엮는 이번 활동의 정서를 예고했다. 한편 코스모시의 두 번째 미니 앨범 ‘~ of the world ~’는 31일 오후 6시부터 각종 온라인 음원 사이트를 통해 들을 수 있다.

In this perspective, Kumar et al. explore how their layered nature affects exchange bias (EB), leading to self-induced EB without a separate antiferromagnetic layer, and how imperfections such as oxidation can enhance EB temperatures.
